Since 2004, World Pediatric Project has developed long-lasting capacity building partnerships in the Dominican Republic to support talented local physicians in reaching more children in need of care. To date, these partnerships have focused on cardiac care and neurosurgery, two high-resource, high-need areas of pediatric care. In partnership with local foundations and NGOs, WPP continues to deepen and develop its care network in the Dominican Republic.
