World Pediatric Project Names Brian Shaw Executive Vice President
New executive leader brings decades of experience to help accelerate organizational growth
Richmond, VA (July 2, 2019) - Brian D. Shaw has joined World Pediatric Project (WPP) as executive vice president effective July 1. In the newly created role of EVP, Shaw will lead the development and communications teams and work alongside CEO Susan Rickman to achieve WPP’s dynamic growth goals.
“Brian brings a depth of leadership and campaign experience,” said Susan Rickman, CEO. “I am certain his addition to our team will propel WPP to reach our Transformation2023 vision to help thousands of children years sooner.”
Prior to joining WPP, Shaw was at Virginia Commonwealth University where he served as senior executive director of the office of the president and senior executive director of special projects. Before joining VCU, Shaw served as president of the George C. Marshall Foundation in Lexington, Virginia. He also served as vice president at Washington and Lee University.
Shaw is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the executive program at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
