Development Internship

Richmond
Primary responsibility will be to provide support for daily Development tasks and provide support to implement World Pediatric Project’s signature fundraising event: Treasures in Paradise. The Development Intern will work closely with the Director of Development Operations to manage administrative tasks for the Development Team’s daily operations and WPP’s largest, annual fundraising event: an auction and fashion show. Responsibilities of this internship include but are not limited to:
  • Help with all development mailings
  • Assist where needed with writing and editing of development materials
  • Assist with data entry and conversion of donor data management system
  • Assist where needed with tasks related to fundraising events
  • Must be able to dedicate at least 8 hours per week to internship
Skill Set:
  • Computer skills: 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on basic functions of Excel and Publisher
  • Attentive to details and to completing tasks thoroughly
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Able to follow written instructions
  • Responsive communicator
