Employee Spotlight: Harper Lorencki, WPP International Teams Program Manager
Coordinating our medical teams is more than making sure everyone arrives safely and on time – it’s also ensuring they have every piece of equipment they might need during their week-long trip. Sometimes that means packing and shipping nineteen boxes of supplies from Richmond, VA to St. Vincent nearly a month in advance of the eye team that will be traveling in mid-February. It’s a logistical challenge that Harper tackles every day making sure our teams have what they need so children can be healed.
That's a lot of boxes!
Harper began working with WPP 6 years ago as a U.S. Referrals Case Aide after graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in psychology and a BA in Spanish - which allows her to interpret for our Spanish speaking families. Now Harper coordinates international surgical and diagnostic teams in the Eastern Caribbean and Barbados across multiple specialties including spine surgery, physical therapy, plastics, craniofacial, speech therapy, and healthy hearing.
Before working with WPP, Harper worked in the animal welfare field for more than 5 years. She loves to cook and traveling a lot for work hasn’t dampened her love of travel during her free time!
