Raymond James Steps Up to Be World Pediatric Project’s Lead Gala Sponsor
Financial firm will sponsor galas in two cities
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA. (October 15, 2018) - World Pediatric Project is pleased to announce Raymond James as the Marquee Sponsor of the 14th annual Treasures in Paradise gala, to be held on November 9, 2018 at Main Street Station.
World Pediatric Project CEO, Susan Rickman states, “We are extremely pleased and excited to have Raymond James as our sponsor for not just our Richmond Treasures in Paradise event, but also for the Treasures in Paradise celebration in St. Louis next January.”
Treasures in Paradise is the largest event for World Pediatric Project in Richmond, with nearly 1,000 people attending to help raise money to change the lives of thousands of critically ill children in the Eastern Caribbean and Central America.
Raymond James-Richmond, Branch Manager and Senior Vice President-Investments, Clifford Foster says the organization is happy to sponsor such a worthy nonprofit. “I am proud to share in the commitment of Raymond James to giving back to the Richmond community. Though World Pediatric Project’s mission is executed internationally, the volunteer doctors and nurses that make it all possible, as well donors and corporate supporters, are our own neighbors and friends. We are proud to play a small role in helping WPP deliver game-changing health care to young people.”
This year led by Co-Chairs Carter and Clifford Foster and Kelly and Brett Hayes, the event is well known for its unmatched luxury vacation auction, elaborate fashion show, and enthusiastic crowd. This year’s fashion show features Richmond fashion designer Martha Gibbs Gottwald, and the Richmond debut of her fashion line, NEUBYRNE. Special entertainment will be provided by The Melisizwe Brothers, the international sensation seen on America’s Got Talent and Live at the Apollo.
